LB Civil has kicked off 2025 at full speed!

Our team has been on-site at Aorangi Road, Bryndwr in Christchurch since early January, delivering essential infrastructure upgrades. As we continue to drive high-quality civil projects across the South Island, we’re looking forward to working with our existing clients and new stakeholders on future developments. Project Highlights

LB Civil has been tasked with delivering new wastewater and water supply infrastructure for Aorangi Road. Our work includes excavation, welding, pipe installation, and the placement of precast chambers, all essential components for a durable and efficient system. Since early January, our wastewater and water supply teams have been on-site, including a specialist water supply welding team, working together to ensure the project is completed efficiently and safely. The scope of work includes:

• Installing a DN250 water mainline pipe to connect to the existing network on Condell Avenue and Wairakei Road.
• Installing DN150 collector wastewater mainlines and structures to manage lateral flows from residential properties along Aorangi Road.
• Using excavation techniques to safely expose existing utilities and minimise disruption to underground infrastructure.

Collaboration & Safety on Site

This project is being delivered in partnership with Isaac Construction, sub-contractors, and the Christchurch City Council. Strong collaboration between all stakeholders has allowed us to streamline workflows, optimise resources, and ensure a smooth delivery process. Every stage of this project has been carefully coordinated to maintain the highest level of safety and efficiency, ensuring that work progresses seamlessly while meeting strict quality standards.
